Thanks for features

Hi Steve! I just now saw that you had added the notification for “favorites” (command F on my Mac). Thank you – I had no idea that had actually been implemented until I went hunting for the proper keystroke and “accidently” tried that command key. I will be using that command a lot, now, to flag words and phrases for more processing.

Maybe hint about the existence of special command keys where they exist? If I hadn’t remembered you writing that there was such a key, I wouldn’t have tried randomly typing keys to try and find it…and then I wouldn’t have seen the cool way you provide notification that the word is favorited/unfavorited.

I also want to thank you for adding the note feature. I know you added that a long time ago, but I don’t think I ever properly thanked you for that. That is where I add mnemonics for some of the tougher words and phrases. I also sometimes use it to write mini essays about origins of words, or grammar hints I otherwise might forget. Anyway, thank you for this, and all features! Readlang was great even two years ago, but it has evolved dramatically since then.

Anyway, thank you for all you do. And Happy New Year, everyone!!

You’re welcome!

For others reading this, this refers to the ctrl+F (cmd+F on mac) keyboard shortcut available during Blitz and Mastery practice modes to toggle the favorite status. Thanks for reminding me about this, I’ve just added it to the list of keyboard shortcuts here: List of keyboard shortcuts in Readlang

Happy new year!
