This video will teach you how to synchronize transcriptions to audio (note that the keyboard shortcuts have changed since this video was made and the new ones are listed below):

Here’s the summary of keyboard shortcuts available when viewing and synchronizing video:

  • X: Switch to Translate mode
  • C: Switch to Sync mode
  • V: Switch to Play mode
  • Ctrl + ,: Jump backwards 5s
  • Ctrl + .: Jump forwards 5s
  • Ctrl + Shift + s: Toggle half speed playback
  • Space: Play or Pause video
