I am considering switching from MacBook to Boox Go 7 for reading. In the expectation that experience will be better overall on readlang. It is obviously going to be slow but how slow is it going to be? I do intensive learning meaning I click on words a lot to get the description. AI is sometimes really slow waiting for a couple of seconds kills the reading fluency. With that in mind is it worth to switch to an e-ink device considering the obvious lagging on screen changes on e-ink devices?
I’ve got a Boox Go Color 7 and find it a bit laggy and the display isn’t so great either, low contrast. I’ve just ordered a Boox Go 7 so after trying it I’ll report back!
