can you add option “import word to vocabulary” in right-click menu, which import word to your vocabulary for memorizing words
Here’s how to add new words or phrases to your word list: Add a word/phrase that didn't come from reading a text
Hope that helps!
i mean you can add button for example “add word to words list” into right-click menu and you can do it like option which you can turn on\ off in settings menu. There are so many new words coming your way and you must switch tab, copy and paste each one and then click the confirm button to add the word to the word list. This takes a lot of time, which goes one way why all these unnecessary actions when you can add a button and in 3 clicks the same operation will be completed, without switching to other tabs, etc. English is not my native language and maybe some text above composed incorrectly, but i hope that i have convey the meaning and you understanding me:) thank you for your attention.
Oh, are you talking about the Chrome extension? So that you can add words/phrases you come across while browsing other websites? Please let me know if I’ve understood you correctly.
Exactly:) you understood me correctly.
OK, thanks for the suggestion!
You likely know this already, but just to clarify, the way the Web Reader normally works is that:
- You click the “R” button while on the webpage you want to read:
If you don’t see the “R” button you can find it by clicking the puzzle piece icon and you can optionally choose to click the pin button to pin it next to your address bar:
- After clicking “R” then you can click or drag across any word or phrase to show a translation in your first language and automatically save it to your word list.
All that said, I do think a more lightweight way of using Readlang with webpages could be nice. A way which doesn’t require opening the whole Web Reader toolbar. Perhaps a right-click context menu as you suggest and/or a little button which appears every time you highlight some text. I’ve thought this for a while and actually created a working prototype but it needed more work. Perhaps one day I’ll revisit this. (No promises though.)
i think you are looking for some extension like this for readlang.
Solve it with vpn:)
but it still doesn’t work, thx for help
