You can now add notes to words and phrases

You’ll notice an “Add notes” button within the word/phrase editor:

This allows you to add a free-text note. This note will then be available within practice sessions. Any words/phrase with a note attached will have a “Show note” button which you can click to see the note. It’s hidden at first just in case you don’t want to see a potential clue before you’ve had a chance to think about that challenge or flashcard.

If you find this feature useful, I’d love for you to share exactly how you’re using it!

this is great. I used to use one of the english translation fields to hold my notes (preceded with a * if I remembered). For example In Italian

“a chi sta” often translates to “whose turn is it” (amongst other things). Oddly this uses the verb “stare” which you would never guess looking at the english. So I will use the note field to remind me of the verb infinitive.

I might also use the note field to remind if something is 2nd person singular or plural (both would be “you” in english but different in italian).

I might also use a note to remind me if something is informal or formal.

Great feature - thanks! Will start to use more know I know it’s there.
