I tried adding context to the words, but in Hungarian, most words change in the sentence, e.g., tenni/tesz, meaning to put/do ,A gyógyszert az asztalra teszem. Readlang rejected it because the word “teszem” is not the same as in the first column.
Did it reject it or just highlight it red? I seem to be able to type whatever I want in the context, it just puts a red highlight around it.
One issue though is that the flashcards might work in a strange way, since it will expect that if it quizzes you on a word, the contexts for that word can be used for “fill in the blank.”
Hi, thank you for your response. I want to add an example to each word, but the file format says the word in the sentence must match the given word. In Hungarian, the verb suffix indicates who is doing the action instead of a pronoun, so this makes the word, e.g., “csinál/to do,” become “csinálsz”. This makes the app mark it red because the words are not written exactly thesame
Yes, the normal way to use the site is that if the Hungarian word is the base form, then the contexts should also use the base form.
However, I believe it is actually saving your contexts, even though it colors them as red. If you refresh the page, your example is still there, right?
