Why do I need to reactivate the extension on every new page I come to?

The Web Reader stays off on each page until you switch it on. That’s deliberate, so that the extension isn’t reading every site you visit in the background, and it isn’t something a browser setting will change.

Once you’ve turned it on in a tab, it’s meant to stay on as you follow links within that same tab. Opening a new tab does need another click.

If you’re finding it turns itself off within the same tab, that isn’t how it’s supposed to behave. If you think it’s doing this please let me know and I’ll look into it.
