I’m reading/learning Serbian. The default browser voice is quite robotic, but at least it tries to sound Serbian. Other two voices are completely off, Sophie is trying to read Serbian as it’s English, and Nicolas sounds like Japanese.
I believe there is some issue in app, and voices are not initialized correctly.
Thanks for reporting this. Azure provides separate Serbian voices for Cyrillic and Latin text, and Readlang was always requesting the Cyrillic version of Sophie and Nicholas, which is why they mangled Latin-script Serbian so badly.
I’ve just fixed it, so the voice now matches the script the text is written in. Please refresh your Readlang browser tab and give them another try, and let me know if they still sound wrong.
