I don’t believe it’s a file size limit. I encounter the same error with significantly smaller files as well.

I managed to find the file you uploaded which twice failed to transcribe. I just tried uploading it and it worked. I’m not sure why it failed twice for you. I suspect it’s either the OpenAI API or the connection between the Readlang server and OpenAI being temperamental, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is more likely to cause problems with with longer files, although apparently it can happen with any length of file.
I would recommend giving it another shot and seeing if the upload works for you now. If it doesn’t, please let me know.
I tried again just now and received a fail message again. For me, this isn’t a deal breaker for using the site but I’d guess you’d like to figure out why it’s not working.
Fact is I find your site very usable and easy for what I need. So thanks for creating it.
It’s strange that it’s consistently failing for you. I’ve just uploaded the same file again myself and it worked again. I’ve just emailed you with a link to the uploaded and transcribed audio file on Readlang.
If this happens for other audio files you upload, please let me know.
