Dear Steve,
I noticed that two days ago the vocabulary review mechanism in Readlang changed. Now the words I fail to recall are shown randomly, whereas before they appeared again for review at the end of the session. That was convenient, because it allowed me to do some extra work with the words that I hadn’t remembered well.
Is there any possibility of bringing back the previous review mechanism, or at least is there some setting where one can choose how the words are presented during review?
I also have noticed this, and was wondering if anyone else had commented on it. I prefer the way the cards presented prior to this change. Like the OP, I like to go through everything and then have the words I need to work on present at the end after all the cards have been gone through once. Thanks.
I believe this was only affecting the Classic Flashcards mode. The behavior you came to enjoy was actually a bug. My original intention was to bump failed cards just a few cards further along into the deck, but a bug was pushing them all the way to the end. I fixed this as part of some cleanup the other day. That said, since you preferred it the way it was I’ve reverted the behavior so it pushes failed cards to the very end again, but intentionally this time
