The practice feature can be improved

I’d like to suggest improving the Anki-style card feature. Right now, Readlang’s practice system has two main issues that affect how well I can memorize words.

First, when I review vocabulary, I usually add synonyms or extra translations in the edit page. But once I add them, these extra meanings also show up in the multiple-choice options. This makes the exercise easier in a bad way, because the option with the added notes becomes the only one with extra information—so it’s very easy to tell which one is correct just by looking at the choices.

Second, the question and the options often have no real similarity or connection. For example, if the question asks what “neural network” means, the choices might be “shipwreck,” “city,” “shampoo,” and “neural network.” This is too easy. I hope the options can include synonyms or related meanings so that I actually need to understand the word in context instead of picking the only reasonable answer.

So I hope the practice feature can be improved. If users could customize their cards more freely, I believe Readlang could become a truly unique and strong product on the market.
