Hi,
I had a suggestion for the mobile app. It would be much easier if we could access the sidebar with a right to left swipe. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance

I fully agree! What would be even better IMHO is to have a panel slide from bottom to ~75% of the top with the explanation. Swiping the panel away would close it and you can continue reading. I believe it would make the experience more smooth.
I’ve actually been thinking of doing exactly this for a while when on mobile, but other tasks have gotten in the way.
Swiping on iPhone could be tricky since iOS already has a bunch of gestures: a swipe from the left edge of the screen is used for “go back a page”, a swipe from the right edge of the screen is used for “go forward a page” (after you’ve already gone back), and a swipe from the bottom is used to go back to the home screen (at least on the newer iPhones which don’t have a physical home button). This is one of the downsides of Readlang being a PWA instead of a real native app.
(And of course swipes within the middle of the page may result in you translating a bunch of text.)
