Steve, creator of Readlang, welcomes you to the Readlang forum!

Hi there fellow language learners!

I’ve set up this forum as a bit of an experiment. I’m hoping it’ll help a bunch of ways:

  • Provide a community for learners to connect, to discuss books they might be reading, to talk about language learning methods and share tips and tricks
  • A place for me to post smaller product updates more frequently which don’t feel like they warrant a new post on blog.readlang.com
  • Move some support conversations to a public place where other users can also see and benefit from the replies that I (and perhaps other users) give
  • Replace the UserVoice feature forum and knowledgebase, currently here: https://readlang.uservoice.com/
  • Replace comments shown on the Readlang blog which is more integrated with Readlang

Right now, like I said this is just an experiment to see how it goes. Does this sound like a good idea? Is anyone else excited about having a Readlang forum? If you are please share here!

Also, if you want to say hi  and introduce yourself and talk about how you use Readlang, that would be awesome!

This is the first time I’ve set up a forum so if you have experience at this kind of things and have any tips, please let me know!

Yay! There’s nothing I like more than a good forum. Kind of neat to actually see people now after so much time knowing that they are somewhere out there using Readlang too.

Hi @mithradates, good to see you here! I’ve never hosted a forum before and admit to a bit of trepidation, on one side that hardly anyone will come and on the other side that too many people will come and moderating will feel like a chore.

It’ll be interesting to see how it goes!
