SRS improvements

I really like the SRS built into Readlang which saves me having to export words and import into Anki.

That said, there is a lack of control over the SRS cards vs Anki. I realise Anki is literally only an SRS app but I feel like in Readlang it would be great to have a bit more control, for example being able to see upcoming reviews, understand a bit about how the algorithm actually works (for example if I answer correctly , how long is the next review) and see how many cards in total and their review statuses.

Have you considered adding any such features?

Agreed both with how useful readlang is by combining srs with reading in one unified app, as well as the desire for a little more srs-ness. Even just showing on the word list tab when each word is due (i.e., one more column) and allowing sorting by that would be helpful for me to keep control over upcoming reviews.

To be honest, I actually appreciate that Readlang does not show that much technical stuff about the SRS and does not have that many options (as for example Anki).

I have used Anki for years and recently stopped because it felt more like a chore with all the stuff and micro-managing and I felt that using it rather distracted me from learning.

So far the Readlang practice sessions feel a lot nicer and rewarding and I feel motivated to do multiple around the day which is great.

The only thing I’m missing so far is a way to reprioritize a word I encounter in a text. We have the “I remembered” button but no “I didn’t remember”.
