Kurdish comprises several dialects, with most commonly Kurmanji written in the Latin alphabet and Sorani in the Arabic script. I’ve noticed some issues when using Readlang for Sorani.
As shown in the attachment, the AI can understand and translate Sorani phrases. However, the instant translation when clicking on a phrase is inaccurate. Also, Sorani is written in the Arabic script (right to left), but when you click on a word or phrase causes it to shift to the left of the text, instead of remaining in place.
I assume these issues stem from Readlang’s support being for the Kurmanji dialect. I was hoping greater support for Sorani Kurdish could be added to the platform.
