Shift two/three lines

The more I’ve used Readlang, the more i’ve learned that, for me, it’s useful to select whole clauses if not whole sentences, especially with idioms or fixed expressions, to get an accurate sense of what a cluster of words mean. To this end, it can be cumbersome to select a phrase that starts on one page and continues onto the next. I was thinking a small ‘nudge’ button at the top of the screen to insert two or three lines from the previous page could work well for this issue, or the inverse at the bottom, or any other ideas people have to address this.

You can change the font size to get more lines on the page.

And paging back and forth a couple of times will also often shift the text to allow you to select everything

I’ve updated it so that if you start dragging to create a selection and wait 1s on the last word of the page, and that word isn’t followed by a paragraph break, it will shift the text up by one line to accommodate an extra line on the page. Hope this helps. And if anything goes wrong with this, please let me know.

This is such an elegant solution, and is working great on my end. I can hover down several lines if I need. Thanks Steve!
