Separating Words vs phrases in "Word List" search?

In “Word List” I would like to practice single words separate from phrases – since the meaning of individual words is often completely lost, or buried, in the phrase.

“Favorites” has always been smart enough to distinguish “word” from “phrase” (I think it is a simple as more than one word is a phrase). However, “Word List” search function doesn’t appear to provide any separation among the search options.

Can this be added so I can drill my individual words, where I am weakest? I am currently going through adding a special character “^” to my weakest words, so I might drill them separately. But this would be largely unnecessary, or at least much more effective, if I could specify I want to practice words, or phrases, ONLY.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll keep an eye out to see if this suggestion comes up again from others in future.

I have this same desire as well actually, especially since the meaning of a word that I already know can change within the surrounding context.

I’m not sure how the user interface for a feature like this would look like though.
