Context:
I export all my vocabulary to Anki, including the Source, so I can display that on my flashcards. (This works well for me because, in the learning phase, I strongly associate words with their source.)
I often discuss new vocab with my online teacher, and I keep a list of questions for her about phrases I don’t quite understand or which have become confusing as I run across more synonyms. It’s sometimes necessary to go back to the original article and share it with my teacher to give more context than what I’ve got on my flashcards.
The problem:
I sometimes discover that I’ve forgotten the greater context of the word beyond what’s on my card, and want to quickly get from my Anki card to the original article. In other cases, I want to send the URL to my teacher, not just the title. Unfortunately, the current “Source” content is just the name of the article, so the fastest way is to just search for it on Google.
The request:
I’d love it if the original URL of the source article (if there was one) would be included as a column option in the flashcard export, such as “Source URL.”
