Hello, has this stopped working? I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. Such a shame, because it’s wonderful for reading www in the learner language
it stopped working on my iphone too, hope someone can help
any help?
just to specify: the app on itself works fine, unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore online, making it impossible for reading and learning and adding new words.
I assume you mean the Web Reader bookmarklet? Install the Readlang Web Reader on iOS Safari
This is becoming notoriously unreliable even on desktop as more and more sites are implementing security measures preventing external scripts running. And yeah, it doesn’t seem to be working for me on iOS right now either.
I strongly recommend using the desktop Chrome or Firefox Readlang Web Reader extension if that’s an option for you. You can import articles using that and read them later on your phone on readlang.com.
I’ll look further into the iOS situation and try to figure out a solution.
thanks, i’m gonna give it a try!
forget it, they are only for desktop and I’ve only an Iphone.
If you’re able to figure it out it would be great in the meantime I’ll be looking for alternatives
Thanks so much Steve. More extensions aren’t an option for me so will really appreciate anything else you can do. Merci bien!
It turns out that this time it was my fault and not an iOS-specific thing, I accidentally broke the bookmarklet. Sorry about that! It’s working again now so please give it another try.
It is still true that the bookmarklet works on fewer and fewer websites as time goes by due to tightening security measures, so long term a better solution is still needed and I will continue to look into this.
Hero! Working fine on my iPhone now. Thanks so much Steve!
