Some weeks ago push notifications stopped working for me on Android with the Ecosia browser.
They are still activated for all languages in my profile and they have worked before perfectly. As a workaroud I activated the e-mail notifications so that I don’t accidentally lose my streak (which is working fine, but I prefered the push notifications).
I’ve confirmed that notifications are still working on my iPhone. I’m not sure if this is an Android specific issue or just something specific to your setup.
Here’s something you can try:
Open the Settings page on the device where you want the notifications and look for this section:
If this “Notifications” checkbox isn’t checked, check it. If it is, try unchecking it and then checking it again to see if that fixes the issue.
It’s the one that says “Notifications for android, chrome (this device)”. Please try unchecking it and then checking it again to see if that helps.
I did that, but so far I was too motivated and hit the steak too early in the day 
I will check in later again when I know more.
