I am trying to pay for Premium but clicking on “Pay” button returns me to same screen and button. Have tried on Mac, Windows and iPhone. Have cleared cache and disabled pop-up blocker. Any ideas?
Before the first payment, Readlang asks you to verify your email address. Your account hasn’t been verified yet, which is why “Pay now” keeps bringing you back to the same page. To continue:
- Look for an email from no-reply@readlang.com with the subject “Verify your email address”, sent to the address on your Readlang account. Please check your spam/junk folder too. Clicking “Pay now” again won’t send a new one.
- Open the link in that email in the same browser where you’re signed in to Readlang.
- You’ll be taken back to the checkout page. Click “Pay now” again and you’ll go through to the payment form.

I did verify and received a “verification complete” or similar message. I attempted to click on the verification link again just now and gotthe following message “Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private.”
Thanks for checking. The link you confirmed was from the Readlang Forum, and it activated your forum account. Forum activation links only work once, which is why opening it again shows that “Oops!” page. There should be another one to verify your email for the Readlang purchase. Anyway, I’ve just emailed you directly with another verification link just in case that didn’t reach you.
(Sorry for the bad experience here. The reason for this email verification step is that a few years back I had an issue with many fraudulent payments from people testing stolen credit cards, and this is one of the measures to help make sure that doesn’t happen again.)
