Hi Steve! As you know, your adding Blitz was a dream come true for me, and has radically accelerated my Spanish progress. I know I am a bit of a squeaky wheel. But, at this point, I am trying to be strategic, wise, and considerate in my requests. I say “trying” because I obviously can’t know your code implementation, nor your other obligations.
I have previously mentioned two things, in particular, which are clearly already substantially in place and would seem, to me, to be very low hanging fruit to upgrade to major benefit for many people:
(1) The ability to “star” a word or phrase in Blitz mode, ideally with a single, easily accessible toggle key? (Maybe number 5 key? Or maybe space bar?). I notice that the “star” feature is ONLY accessible from the List tab. It isn’t even available when with Adding or Editing a word or phrase? Is there a reason for that restriction?
(2) Ability to set Blitz to always lead with the language I am learning (so it will always lead with a spoken foreign languge).
I expect I’ve gotten far more “dreams come true” than most community members. I hope you can see, and appreciate, the vision I have for ReadLang for many, if not all, learners.
FWIW, with Blitz, I believe I’ve knocked out almost 10,000 words and phrases from my 32,000 long list in less than a month. I am working on a useful, reusable list of common, reusable conversational Spanish idioms. I hope to eventually share this with the ReadLang community as a separate “book”. The two features I am requesting will help enormously in the compilation and refinement of that list. And I think they are all I am currently lacking, at least at an essential level, to complete my outcomes.
Thanks for your consideration.
