Practice source choice is huge

I don’t know how else to say this, but I don’t like this. Mixing the source website and practice is too confusing, when all I really want is to review the words I learned from a recent book I’ve read.

Do you mean that you don’t want to see the practice words segmented by the website?

Personally, I’m practicing vocabulary from just one book that I’m currently reading, so I can become more fluent with that text. It also helps me learn words in context. So I find it very useful when the vocabulary is organized based on its source, rather than one big laundry list of words.

However, like you, I want to navigate to a specific source as quickly as possibly. Right now I’m only focused on one book, and need to select it every time because the default is “all words.” But there might be people who rotate their practice across different sources each time.

Yeah, I guess, as a user, I would sometimes like to focus on just the bok Im reading, but since the number of words I am trying to learn from that bok always changes, I keep needing to find it from teh long list of websites and books.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve just made some changes to the practice source picker that should help here:

  • The list is now ordered by most recently read, so the book you’re currently working through appears near the top.
  • You can type to filter by title or author.
  • Your chosen source is remembered between sessions, so once you’ve picked your current book you won’t need to find it again next time.

Please refresh your Readlang tab and let me know if it feels better.

In addition this, would it be possible to choose multiple sources at once?
