Please help. I used up my entire budget on the book I want to read in Spanish, and paying for Readlang to read it on. The book I had intended to use Readlang for…is a PDF.
I’m an older person, who is not very tech savvy. I don’t want to get a virus or give some unscrupulous program permissions it might use against me.
If some kind soul will please patiently explain to me like I’m 5, how I can successfully convert this pdf into a .txt or pdf without spending more money? I would be grateful.
What I have tried already:
Calibre:
Someone put Linux on my laptop, because the laptop was too old for Windows. I don’t know how to download calibre onto this linux computer. And calibre doesn’t work on my Android phone.
Google Docs:
I uploaded my pdf to google drive. And from there, opened it in Google docs like a youtube video showed me how to do. Except that, only some of the pdf converted. Google search says the length of the pdf might be too long. (Pdf is a little over 500 pages). Google search also says it might have too many pictures. (Pdf has many illustrations.)
Docusign: Wanted permission to access, read, and edit my gmail account.
Again, many thanks!
