When I review the words saved in the ‘World list’ tab, sometimes entire sentences are saved there, and after analysing them, I would like to learn shorter fragments or individual words.
In such a situation, I edit the saved sentence. As a result, sometimes it would be useful to create two separate cards, flashcards. An option such as “create an additional card” or something similar would be useful.

Do you mean two flashcards for the same words? I wonder how that would that work. Additionally, you could just create an additional sentence for the word; sometimes I save 2-3 sentences for a word if it has different meanings.
If you need to create another context for the same word you can do as @Raccoon suggests.
Otherwise, if you want to create a new card, you can use the search box at the top of the Word List tab and if the word isn’t found within your current word list and if Readlang finds a translation for that word it should show a bit “+ Add Word” button like this which you can click to add the new word:
