New app for speaking for English and Spanish learners: Spoken

Hi all,

Just want to share with you an app that a friend of mine has created for practicing speaking in Spanish and English: https://spoken.me/

I’ve tried the iOS app for Spanish and it’s simple but works pretty well. You get to practice speaking on different topics and get your mistakes corrected by AI (it doesn’t correct your pronunciation, not yet anyway, just your grammar).

No real connection to Readlang, apart that I’ve worked on something a bit similar with the Chat tab, which you can also use to practice speaking by using your device’s speech to text functionality (e.g. the microphone button on the iOS keyboard) but Spoken is built with speaking as the main focus so if that sounds interesting to you, please give it a shot!

I’ve been looking for something like this. I’ll keep an eye on it in case they add some more languages down the line.
