Hello. May I choose a British accent to practice English skills, such as listening and speaking with shadowing technique? I really hope Readlang will add this option. Thank you so much!

Hi. The voices depend on what browser you use. The best voices, and the biggest selection, are on the Edge browser. They certainly seem to have Irish and Australian English, so I’m pretty sure they’ll have British English.
Whether you use the online version or for example the Android Edge app, you’ll need to enable the Read aloud feature in Edge’s own settings menu. Click on the three horizontal lines at the top right, next to the Copilot symbol, this will open Edge’s menu. Near the bottom of the menu you’ll see the Read Aloud icon. Click on that, but ignore the player that appears at the top of the page (using Readlang’s own Read aloud feature involves less hassle).
Now close the text in Readlang, and then open it again, and Readlang’s own Play button should have appeared at the bottom of the page. Open the AA page in the sidebar and select the voice you want to listen to.
