Library shows other languages

I just started Readlang, so this may not be a bug and I just don’t know how to set the settings, but when I went to the library tab to find something to try reading for the first time like the tutorial suggested, it shows me material that don’t seem to be relevant to my selected language?

Is there something I need to change in a setting or is this the intended way for the library to function? If so, could someone help me understand how it’s meant to be beneficial, please?

Thanks so much!

Sorry about that. I should do more to improve the quality of the shared public libraries. I think there may be a bug which makes texts switch language for some reason, or perhaps it’s too easy for the owner of the text to accidentally switch its language.

I’ve manually fixed the languages for the texts in your screenshot now. In future I’ll think about adding a report button in the webapp so that you can report problems like this with specific texts.

Wow, thanks so much for responding so quickly and already doing something about it!

Please don’t be sorry! I’ve heard so many great things about this amazing resource you’ve created and it makes me super happy to see how involved you are!

The report button sounds like it would be a great feature. Looking forward to it down the road!

Perhaps the algorithm that determines the level of an imported text (A1-C2) could also classify its language and list it in the correct library?
