Out of curiosity, what criteria does the word list feature use to categorise a given word “Learned”, and does a “Learned” word stop coming up in daily practice? I’m fairly new, so haven’t been able to figure out the exact rules
Readlang uses a spaced repetition system to schedule each word or phrase at progressively longer intervals into the future each time you remember it successfully. On the flip side, if you fail to remember a word or phrase it will schedule it to reappear sooner.
Words show up in “Learned” when the spacing interval is greater than one week (this is somewhat arbitrary). The fastest this can be achieved is after 3 successful recalls of a word in a row. Words in “Learned” will still appear in your practice sessions, but they will be spaced out at intervals of one week or longer. There’s no fundamental difference in how words in “Learned” are treated beyond that.
I hope that makes sense.
Yes, thanks!
I was wondering how they ended up there so (relatively) quickly
