Issues with alignment and word order in Persian practice sessions (RTL language)

I noticed two issues when I first practiced words in Persian (maybe the second is related to the first)

Persian text is not properly displayed right to left

The context sentence is not properly displayed right to left. While the word order is ok, the sentence is aligned to the left and the full stop gets moved in front of the first word after the line break.

This also applies to the word and context fields in the edit page, but I would say it’s more of an issue with the practice, because I actually want to read it here.

The Persian sentence for reference:

او همچنان به سرودن اشعار عاشقانه ادامه می‌داد و نام لیلا را بر زبان می‌آورد.

The word order gets messed up when the word is the last word of the context

When the word in question is the last word(s) in the context and the line breaks the word order gets messed up after the line break.

The Persian sentence for reference:

در نهایت، قیس در بیابان از دنیا رفت و لیلا نیز در خانه خود چشم از جهان فروبست.

I’m not entirely sure if I explained the issue sufficiently, let me know if I should supply more details or examples :see_no_evil_monkey:

I’ve just updated this. Please refresh your Readlang tab and give it another try. I’ve set the direction to RTL in a bunch of places, including the context sentence within practice sessions and within the edit view. Let me know if I’ve missed anything or if any of the changes I’ve just made don’t feel right to you.

I found one more (the context displayed when clicking on a highlighted word):

(btw I really enjoy the story bot for Persian)

These contexts should now display correctly in RTL languages. Please refresh your Readlang tab and give it another try, and please let me know if you notice any other problems.

Another instance is the document text in the edit tab

Thanks for reporting! This is now fixed.

Another (tiny) issue: when practicing in Mastery mode and using the hint the … are misplaced. Not sure if this can be fixed at all with both LTR and RTL in one sentence

(but at least the description “ends with” is correct)

This should be fixed now. Please refresh your Readlang tab and give it another try.
