Issue with auto-reassignment of Story Bot texts

A slightly obscure issue. If you generate a story with Story Bot and it erroneously comes out as English, it gets auto-reassigned as a shared English text, but this text will not be on your “My Texts” listing in English, so it’s not obvious how to unshare it.

Actually, I guess most users wouldn’t even understand what happened to the text, as it will look like it simply got deleted on you, if you view it from the language you intended it to be in. Maybe you’d have to be looking at your own profile and see that you’re now sharing an English text.

edit: I missed that an email is sent out. That clarifies what happened at least.

Thanks for reporting! I’ll see if I can make the bot a bit more reliable when it comes to the language. If you don’t mind sharing, do you remember what the prompt you used was? Feel free to email me directly if you want: steve@readlang.com

Well, I think I just typed something about the Burger King foot lettuce meme being an actual widespread issue, but the language was Oromo. So I don’t blame the AI for resorting to English. I really don’t mind about that part, it was a hard task and I was seeing what it could do. (It actually did not handle a subsequent task very well either, still in Oromo, in the right language this time, but devolving into repetition.)

What led me to want to report a bug was the sense of not understanding how to unshare something that isn’t in my “My Texts” list. (Maybe it’s because I had never been in the English slot before? Not sure.) I ended up editing it back to be Oromo and then unsharing it.

Thanks for the info!
