Is There a Shortcut to Mark a Word Known?

Sometimes I mark words when reading that I am familiar with but haven’t seen in a long time. And when I’m doing review it only takes 1 or 2 times seeing the word for it to lock in again. And in other cases, I find that I learn an unknown word very quickly because it’s similar to another word I know. In cases like this, I prefer to review another word instead of these words. Is there a shortcut to marking a word know and getting it out of the SRS review rotation? Right now I’m deleting the words but it seems there should be a way to move a word to known or “suspend” it as you can do in Anki.

No, not like that. If I encounter a word (in Blitz) that I feel I wouldn’t ever need to be quizzed on, then I will delete it, like you. (There is not likely a lot of valuable info on such cards to worry about saving.) Otherwise I put up with it being in the drill.

I agree some option like “treat it like I answered this right and don’t show it again this session” would improve efficiency a bit as well as make your total encountered word count more accurate (because you aren’t deleting known words).
