I’m diligently using Readlang each day (though I lost the streak in November). Usually I use it in Chrome, through the extension. Today I exported all the words in the word list and decided to check how many words I have added each month. https://imgur.com/a/ZyNhfQX
I found out there are no new words on September, October and November 2024. I have read and translated words each day, so I’m not sure what is the reason. I don’t think that all the words that I marked within these 3 months weren’t new.
Maybe the size of word list is limited?
I’ve just had a peek at your account and it seems that you are learning different languages and that if you look at words from all the languages you study there is no gap in Sep, Oct and Nov.
Oh, I see. It appears that the new context-aware translations are good at inferring the language from the context so that it hardly matters which language you actually have set, it still seems to work regardless!
You could try exporting your words from one language and importing them to another perhaps, although you will lose the connection with the source text. Alternatively, if you want to give me date ranges I could change the language of all your words within that range to Spanish if you like.
For the texts themselves you can switch their language to the Spanish using either the Dictionary or Edit tabs in the reader page sidebar.
It is fine, thank you! I exported the words from my German list, processed them and imported them into Anki.
I’ll make sure to be more careful in the future and double check that I have the correct language selected!
