I miss the graph on the home page

I was going to state this in the negative: I really don’t like the new home page, where the “start conversation button” has displaced the graph I used to motivate myself. Can’t you shrink the buttons so they fit together at the top and bring some variant of the chart (which stacks blitz+reading together) so I continue to feel motivated?

Maybe this is just me, Steve, and I am not trying to be a cry-baby, but – and I know it is weird – I feel like quitting rather than face that home screen where all my effort is now squeezed down to “You Have A 527 Day Streak!..” and the graph that motivated me to keep up with the earlier days in the week is gone. I had been using that to make sure I did both a fair amount of reading and a good number of word and phrase review every day. I didn’t even realize how much I was pacing myself with that, trying to keep the slope at least level, until, now.

TL;DR? The new home screen is boring and DEmotivating.

“Read 500 words or practice 10 flashcards”: how pathetic that now seems.

Well, I believe that’s probably because of the additional “Show Long Term Progress” feature, which, coincidentally, was originally suggested by me. However, I ALSO MISS THE GRAPH TOO! I believe that the “progress” feature should be an addition to the graph, not a replacement for it.

Now, the home page looks dull, and it feels odd.

And also, this is to Steve, I really like the “Words Read” and “Words Practiced” feature, thank you so much for adding it!

Sorry, the graph wasn’t meant to disappear. I’ll add it back today

The graph is now back, and I’ve slightly reduced the height of the “Start Practice” and “Start Conversation” buttons.

Thank you! I’m home again!
