I can't upload audio

I recently tried using the new audio upload and transcription feature on your website, but I encountered an error. Here are the details of the issue:

  • Audio File Name: Ender’s_Game_01-17.mp3
  • File Duration: 170.4 minutes
  • Audio Quality: Medium (mono)
  • Error Message: Failed: ENOENT: no such file or directory, lstat '/home/steve/code/readlang/temp/processedAudio/6754803d425014244edd604c.ogg'

The error suggests that the system couldn’t locate the necessary file or directory during the processing. I have verified that my internet connection is stable.

Sorry about this. There’s a duration limit of 2 hours at the moment but the error message wasn’t very helpful. I’ve just pushed a fix so that from now on it will clearly state when you’ve exceeded the 2 hour limit.

For long audio files I recommend using an audio editing app like Audacity (https://www.audacityteam.org/) to split it into smaller chunks.
