I just started yesterday using Readlang’s Mongolian target language setting to practice my Kyrgyz. I went and uploaded a bunch of texts and developed a hundred cards or so to practice.
Is there a way for me to port those texts and flashcards over to a different language (in this case, Kazakh, the closest language to Kyrgyz) without rebuilding from scratch?
I’d also be forever grateful if Kyrgyz happened to make its way into the language mix one of these days!
Your wish is my command! I’ve just added Kyrgyz, and if your first language is set to English it will have English only Explain support too, since I’ve just enabled that for all languages.
(I think at this point I may as well just add all the languages Google Translate supports actually, will probably do that soon)
Switching the language of your texts is pretty easy. You just need to open the text to read it, click the button at the top right to open the sidebar (if it isn’t already open), switch to the Edit tab, and then click on the language here to switch it to a different one:
Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a way for you to switch the language of the words at the moment. Would you like me to manually switch the language of all your Mongolian words to Kyrgyz?
