Hi Steve, it looks like the the underscore and double underscore are no longer working as italics and bold markups. See e.g. this Readlang

I think this might be a bug which stops the entire paragraph from being bold/italic. I’ll look into it.

On further investigation I see that there’s a newline here where I’ve added the two red dots:

It happens to be in a position that is easy to miss given my screen width, and perhaps for yours too. The bold and italic markup isn’t intended to work across multiple lines.
