It used to be that as I was doing a 25 card set of classic flashcards, I would see somewhere on the screen something like “5/25” or “18/25”. This displayed how many cards remained (or perhaps how many cards had been seen, or how many cards had been completed – all of these transform easily to the other).
Now I don’t see this.
I’m in Firefox on Windows 11.
I liked seeing this number just to know better where I was in the set (and I don’t find the green progress bar as good for this), and especially because when I was doing a set of 25 or 50 cards, when I would first get to a card that was a review of one missed, I could determine what fraction of the cards I was getting right. That is, it has seemed that all the reviews would come at the end, and so if I were on card 22 of 25 when I first am re-presented with one I missed, I would know I had missed 4 cards out of the set.
I humbly request that this numeric display be restored.
