Feature request: Public texts filtering

Hi, I really like Readlang but miss several features which are stopping me from switching to Readlang completely.

  1. I would love to be able to hide public texts I already finished.

  2. Order public texts alphabetically. For example in spanish there are lessons like “A1 - Unidad 1”, “A1 - Unidad 2” etc. and this would help me to see them in order.

  3. When I search for texts and finish one of them, it won’t bring me back to my search result, but back to all texts instead. Could that be changed?

Anyway thank you for all your hard work

Hi Pavel! Steve will know better, but you can put things on shelves of your own choice and you can drag-and-drop rearrange their position on said shelves. And you can archive. There may well be other things you can do that I haven’t figured out yet. So, at least, you can order alphabetically, or otherwise, by drag-and-drop (your #2 request).

Personally, I’d like to be able to edit the names of my various books. I don’t think that can be done?

And I agree with your #3 request. It is irritating to always be taken back to “all texts” instead of your last (preferred) open, and organized, shelf. If there is a way to change that, I don’t know about it.

Good to have you here!

Concerning hiding finished texts, I’d welcome a view in which all shelves with finished texts only would be hidden as well.

Thanks for the suggestion! You can now enable this as an experimental feature: Experimental option to hide completed texts from public library

That makes sense. I’ll think about this!
