I get the message, after the deletion, that I am limited to 12 words. The deletion is a bug.
Also, when entering a phrase by hand I can’t assign a “source” or “group”? Yes, I know source field is usually used for a specific book, but there ought to be some way to categorize things I enter otherwise. As long as I am on the topic, and since this request might deserve a larger frame, I ought to be able to move phrases and words to categories of my own choosing. Say, “Learned”, “Conversational”, “Scientific”? Maybe this would be better done with Tag support, which would leave the original Source field unmolested?
Actually, this feature miscounts the phrase length. I only put in 9 words (plus punctuation):
“Conoces todas estas palabaras: Suele. Suela, Suelo. Suelta. Sueldo.”
P.S. I think the “:” triggers the miscount. I first tried deleting a few more words and it was still rejected. Then I replaced the “:” in the shortened version with a “?” and it was accepted.
Sorry about that. This is now fixed so the phrase length count shouldn’t be affected by punctuation. Also, the input field is not deleted upon searching.
