Does the meaning of the stored word get chosen as a random or rhe most representative meaning? Or does the meaning found by the context aware translation function apply? Thank you.
I assume you’re talking about words which already have a saved meaning (translation) which you then encounter in a new context and click to translate again. (If I’ve misunderstood, please let me know)
In this case, if you have context-aware translations turned off, it will just show you the previously stored meaning (translation).
If you have context-aware translations turned on, it will show you the context aware translation appropriate for the current context, and it will make this new translation the main meaning (translation) for that word. The old meaning (translation), if different from the new one, will be retained in the stored card as an alternative meaning (translation). I realize this might be frustrating in certain cases, but I’ve been finding that it’s more common for the new context-aware translation to be the better translation so this seemed like a sensible behavior for now.

Unlike others, there is no + sign that adds the meaning of the word checked through chatgpt. Is there any related explanation?
Sorry, that feature only works for explanations in English at the moment, since it relies on pattern matching a bunch of common forms of showing translations like means "..." or translated to "...".
