Copying context to another card during flashcard practice

I prefer to use the classic flashcard mode, mostly because it allows me to click on a word in the context and look up its meaning. However, I’ve noticed that instead of copying the whole context from one card to another, only a couple of words are copied into the context of the new card (or into a new context on an existing card). Sometimes the context even is already there, but a new partial one is added anyway.

What works: the source of the context is transferred correctly.
What does not work: only part of the context is transferred. I’d like to transfer the whole context as it appears on the original card (even if not displayed in full during the practice session).

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry about it. I’ve just fixed it, so please refresh your Readlang browser tab and give it another try.

Clicking a word in a flashcard’s context now copies the whole stored context across, rather than the shortened version shown during practice, and saving the same context again no longer adds a second partial copy.

Contexts that were already saved in the shortened form won’t be repaired automatically. You can remove those by finding the card in your Word List, opening it for editing, and clicking the X next to any context you don’t want.

Please let me know if you still have problems.
