I appear to have successfully installed the Chrome extension but when I clcik on the R (white, in green box) it directs me to sign in and refresh.
I am already signed in and refresh doesn’t enable anything.

After turning off in the Orion settings for the website in question (elpais.com), for Content Blockers, Tracking Prevention & Third Party Cookies the extension is now loaded.
Probably the Cookies exception did it? (They are blocked by default in Orion.)

Yes, this is very likely. Readlang uses cookies for authentication.
