Bug(ish): Punctuation getting counted towards word limit

I noticed today that, when highlighting a long idiomatic phrase of 12 words in French, I exceeded the word limit upon highlighting the exclamation point that came after it.

I like to highlight ending punctuation or quotation marks where it’s relevant, but it seemed a little buggy that the punctuation in this case put me over the 12-word limit.

PS: This may be specific to French, if the word count is based on number of spaces, since French requires a space before exclamation points and question marks.

Thanks for reporting. I’ve just fixed this so that the spaces around exclamation points, question marks and some other punctuation won’t count toward the word length limit.
