BBC in Russian: plugin in Safari not working

So far, I can‘t get Readlang to work in Safari on the ipad for anything on the BBC site.

I’m afraid the BBC website’s security policies prevents external scripts from running, so the bookmarklet won’t work. The Chrome and Firefox extensions do work though.

Do the plugins work on the iPad?

No, not as far as I’m aware.

I think to get the equivalent functionality on iOS I’d need to create an iOS app. This is something I plan on playing around with, but no definite promises.
