I’m curious if anyone else out there uses Readlang for unsupported languages by just adding a custom dictionary and editing the cards manually? I’ve made it work for Occidental (Interlingue), Interslavic, Sambahsa… The first two I set to Catalan and Czech after which Google Translate gets the meaning right about 4 times out of 5 which saves a good amount of time.

I just started using the Mongolian language setting to start reading through my Kyrgyz texts–which I am regretting since Steve just unveiled Kazakh today (Kazakh is much closer to Kyrgyz).
For what it’s worth, I don’t really rely on the translation feature within the program but rather mark all the words and phrases to learn and run them through ChatGPT4, which for Kyrgyz at least has a pretty accurate translations, and then edit the phrase translation. That being said, I do find that translation feature in the program gets the essence of the phrases generally.
