After years with LingQ, I’m moving over to Readlang and so far enjoying a simpler experience. I uploaded a lot of content in LingQ but the ability to organize things by course and to further manually order content within courses made it easy to manage a wide variety of content.
Obviously Readlang has a much simpler library. The only tools I see to organize texts are with “shelves” and then there are categories but as far as I can tell they are very simple, cannot be edited, and are not really used anywhere in the library.
I could see shelves being difficult to manage if I created as many shelves as I have courses in LingQ.
What are other people doing to manage content? Any suggestions or best practices on how to manage and find content? When importing a book or articles on a subject do people simply create shelves?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
