Answer card doesn't revert to "?", previous answer remains

Hi. Thanks for the superb app, loving it as always.

However. in pracitce, for the last couple of days I have target-language-word A on the left and “?” on the right. I click the “?” and answer A comes up as usual. Then I click the left card for a new target-language-word-B on the left and on the right instead of “?” I still have answer A sitting there. This happens on different browsers, after logging in and after closing and opening the browser.

I tried to reproduce this but couldn’t. Is this still happening for you? Which browser and operating system are you using? Is there any other info you can provide which might help me to reproduce this?

happened on chrome, Mac, sequioa 15.6.1. safari seems ok now. it does three cards OK then the right hand card stays static for the rest of the session. thx

Thanks for the extra detail. I’ve now managed to reproduce this. The cause was a request for the current time that could hang indefinitely when a tab had been open a while or the connection briefly dropped, which stopped the flashcards from advancing and left the previous answer sitting on the right hand card for the rest of the session.

If this is the same root cause that caused the bug in your case then this should be fixed now. Please refresh your Readlang tab and let me know if you see it happen again.
