Add 0.9x Playback Speed Option for Uploaded Audio

Hi Steve,

Would you consider adding a 0.9x playback speed for uploaded audio? For some recordings, 1x feels a bit too fast, while dropping down to 0.8x often feels too slow. If it’s not too complicated, having a 0.9x option would be really helpful.

On a lighter note, I find it amusing that there’s a 2x option. I suppose we have some exceptionally talented learners among us!

Haha, that’s a good point! I’ve just replaced the 2X option with a 0.9X.

I imagine anyone good enough to use the 2X option is unlikely to need Readlang. That said if anyone is sad to see the 2X option go, please let me know.

Thank you for adding this. I find 0.9x to be a great speed for a lot of content

Same, on YouTube I watch pretty much everything on 0.9. It feels just like watching at full speed except you get that tiny bit of extra time to keep up with what’s being said. Anything below and it staaaarttsss toooo fffeeel unnn nnn nnaturalll
